A havaiana Carissa Moore, de 28 anos, garantiu o lugar mais alto do pódio, da categoria surfe feminino, nesta terça-feira.
Moore, que respresenta os Estados Unidos na competição, foi quatro vezes campeã do Circuito Mundial (2011, 2013, 2015 e 2019), e conquistou o ouro feminino nos Jogos Olímpicos de Tóquio ao vencer a africana Bianca Buitendag, na final, por 14.93 a 8.46. O terceiro lugar ficou com a japonesa Amuro Tsuzuki.
