Sunset at Toroweap, Grand Canyon, Arizona

vale pati

18 Aug 2012 — Toroweap is a remote location on the north rim of the Grand Canyon. It can only be reached via a 61-mile rugged dirt road. There is no cell phone coverage, and the slightest rainfall turns the road into an impassable goo. The trip is more than worth it, providing a stupendous view of the canyon and the mighty Colorado river 3000 feet below. I was at Toroweap for 2 nights and I had the place completely to myself. It was amazing. — Image by © Doug Meek/Corbis
