De corpo e água

O vídeo acima é o quinto e último da série Of Soul + Water, que conta histórias de pessoas ligadas à água e ao mundo outdoor. Cada episódio traz também, de alguma forma, a vida desses personagens, que geralmente tem algo especial para ser tratado – é a parte que corresponde ao “soul” (“alma”) do título.

Em The Elder (O Ancião), o retratado é Rob Elliot, que aos 68 anos de idade já guiou mais de 200 viagens pelo rio Colorado, no Grand Canyon (EUA). O filme traz uma série de imagens do lugar, costurado com a narrativa da poesia a seguir. Os versos são questionamentos da própria existência: qual o segredo de uma vida bem vivida?
